ENVIRONMENTAL AND MINE CLOSURE ENGINEER

This position will be based in South Kalimantan. He/She will be responsible to monitor and evaluate the implementation of environmental activities, such as reclamation, water management, hazardous material handling, and audit process in order to ensure environment activities are comply with AMDAL and government’s regulation.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor (S1) degree in environmental/forestry engineering or other relevant discipline,
2. Minimum 1 year work experience in coal mining industry,
3. Good understanding of regulations related to environmental management including forestry (PPKH),
4. Good understanding of SIMPEL, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and PROPER assessment will be an advantage,
5. Experience in using GIS software including NDVI analysis & graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Canva etc) will be an advantage,
6. Experience in the development of mine closure plans including closure design will be an advantage,
7. Proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, Power Point,
8. Good communication skills (oral & written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English,
9. Good interpersonal skill and able to work in team,
10. High commitment to PT Arutmin Indonesia standard in safety, environment, business ethic, and good corporate governance.
